I don’t need the AAC right now.

Before you go, let me raise awareness to some of the not-so-obvious benefits of being an AACer.

The AAC is the only membership of its kind for aspiring actuaries!  Something like this has never been done before, so you’re officially part of CHANGE in the actuarial field!

Doesn’t that feel good?

Not only does the AAC have tons of resources to help give you the best chance of success, but it also has an amazing group of other aspiring actuaries that truly “get you“.

They know how difficult this process is.  They know what you’re going through.

And because of that, they’re always there to motivate, inspire and support you too!

And that’s what makes the AAC so incredible.

Plus, it’s going to help you become successful so much sooner than most people can do it alone.

So now, let’s consider even more ways that you may be getting more from the AAC than you even realize.  It goes far beyond the resources!

Ask questions whenever!

Remember, you’re not doing this alone anymore.

You have 100s of other aspiring actuaries, plus myself, to give you the guidance and support you need.

That means you don’t have to ponder questions any more.  Google doesn’t have to be your actuarial resource.

You have us!

Any time, you can ask your questions in our WhatsApp group.

If you have math questions, you can ask in our Q&A forum.

Or, come to one of our live, monthly Actuary Q&A sessions for more in-depth guidance and answers.

This aspect of the AAC is one of the main reasons many members stay!

Have my emails inspired you, answered questions, and kept you focused?

Consider this..

Getting regular “tips and advice” emails about how to succeed on your actuarial journey consistently may be keeping you more motivated than you realize.

Think back to all the emails I’ve sent you as an AAC member.  Did they make you think differently? Did they provide you valuable information? Did they get you excited to continue on your actuarial journey?

Sometimes, just knowing that others are on this journey with you is such a motivating factor.  Make sure you take that into consideration.

Implement what you learn.

It’s easy to sit back and watch a course.  The hard part is actually taking what you’ve learned and putting it into action.

Are you doing that? Are you going through the modules and completing each one?

If not, you’ve got to start!  Implementing what you learn is the only way to become a top actuarial candidate.

Members that spend their time watching videos, but not implementing, do not get good results.  They keep sitting where they are, and never make any progress.

So, if you have watched all the videos but haven’t yet taken the time to implement, then now is the time to start doing that.  Start from the beginning, rewatch the videos, and implement as you go.

That’s when you’ll start seeing progress and results!

I hope you were able to use the above ideas to see how valuable your AAC membership is for your career!

All that being said, I want you to know that I truly value you as a member in the AAC.  My goal is to help you achieve this mission of becoming an actuary as quickly and easily as possible, without having to do it alone!

Remember too, that long-term involvement in an actuarial community, like this one, is desirable to actuarial employers.  They want to see that you’re committed and dedicated to the career.  So, being a member of this group is just one more way to prove that to them.
