Who is Brea?

I’m an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and the leader of the Actuary Accelerator Community.

I’ve spent over 3 years helping aspiring actuaries, like you, to learn about the actuarial career, pass their exams, and get jobs!

I’ve brought this community together because I know becoming an actuary is a long journey. It can be confusing, difficult, and a bit lonely sometimes.

But now, by joining our community, you’ll have a mentor and an actuary-family all in one place!  We’ll help you learn, find success, and stay motivated throughout your journey.

In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo in Canada.  Throughout my career, I’ve spent over 5 years in actuarial positions.

I loved my job but saw that other people were having difficulty achieving the same goal that I had. So, that’s when I set out to start helping others, like you, achieve career success too.
